Construction of the EURO+ Combined Oil Refining Unit at the Moscow Refinery Revamping
Project Description

Construction of the Euro+ Combined Oil Refining Unit is a key project in the Moscow refinery’s second-stage modernization work. Operation of EURO+ at the Moscow Refinery will allow yielding more light products, increasing intermaintenance period to 4 years, improving the complex’s operational energy efficiency and reducing the refinery’s total environmental impact from processing activities.

NIPIGAS is the General Contractor for construction of EURO+ combined oil refining unit.

Construction of EURO+ unit started in 2016. 12 000 piles, 26 000 tons of steel structures, 18 300 tons of equipment, 46 000 m3 of concrete, and 967 000 meters of piping were used for the unit construction. Over 4000 workers were involved at the peak period.

As of today, the construction works are complete. Specialists have commenced the preparation for the process of systems commissioning stage.
